Work With Me
What to expect
“I worked with Chelsea over several sessions, in-person and online. We addressed chronic pain in my lower back, and also established a morning and evening routine to energize and rest my nervous system. I’m grateful for Chelsea’s innate ability to listen and provide to build a plan that resulted in significant improvement in mobility and reduction in pain. I’m constantly reminded of the tools Chelsea’s given me and count on them often. Thank you, Chelsea!”
Most one-on-one sessions last an hour, with initial sessions lasting 1.5 hours. After initial intake and assessment utilizing the Integrated Systems Model (ISM), I will design a program tailored to your needs and goals. The ISM, developed by Diane Lee, works towards identifying the root cause of the problem and working up from there, so the driver is addressed instead of merely addressing the symptoms, allowing for long term healing and recovery.
Therapy techniques utilized during sessions may include:
Self myofascial release
Nervous system regulation
Yoga Nidra (yes, yogic sleep)
Though we will be working towards a determined set of goals and through a program, each session is essentially independent. This means if something else has come up or you are finding other ailments or blockages present in your life, we can address what is meaningful for you on that day. As the client, you are essentially driving the program. I firmly belief out of that knowledge, you are more easily moved to embrace the opportunity for change, growth, and optimal well-being in body, thought, feelings, and spirit.
During COVID-19, I am still available for one-on-one in home sessions in Campbell River and the Comox Valley. I am also available for online one-on-one sessions via Zoom or Messenger. Please check out my free short video classes and live online class series (coming soon!).

Trauma is a fact of life. It does not, however, have to be a life sentence.
As a registered Yoga Therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapists, sessions are generally covered under 3rd party health insurance. However, I firmly believe therapy should be available to everyone. If you are in need and can’t afford services, please contact me via email as I offer a sliding rate scale. I also have reduced rates and offer a free mind-body mini counselling session for those struggling with trauma and addictions.
